About The Position

Ensures an efficient flow of communication within the Facilities Department. Maintains organized preventive maintenance and repair records. Communicates with Landis Homes' staff, residents and others involved regarding maintenance issues. Assists with repairs as needed. Maintains appropriate equipment and parts inventory. Tracks and submits invoices for payment in coordination with the Director of Facilities. Participates in on-call rotation in Facilties. Assists with snow removal and other emergencies as needed. Assumes the Director's duties in his/her absence. Understands and models the Honoring Lives principles in leadership, relationships and customer service. Supervises, motivates, trains, and defines the organization's standards and communicates effectively with staff using team leadership concepts. Provides and supports growth and development opportunities for team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing skills required.
  • Maintains current valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
  • Prior experience in related role required.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of facility's various systems present in a long-term care facility.
  • Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role.
