About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility. This role oversees a team of hourly facilities team members, manages contractors and vendors, leads special projects, and ensures labor resources are effectively planned and utilized.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably within a logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights or weekends for special projects or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive team environment with a focus on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Manage, schedule, and develop a team of hourly facilities and maintenance team members.
• Lead special projects such as facility upgrades, process improvements, equipment installations, and space reconfigurations.
• Develop and manage labor plans to align with operational needs and seasonal fluctuations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, dock levelers, and battery charging stations to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
