About The Position

Facilities Supervisor - Tampa, FL (HYBRID), Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pay range: $69,900+ per year Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Position will manage two/three facilities and functions that support owned and leased buildings in New Jersey, housing corporate staff.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in facilities management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Able to successfully work with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Detail-oriented individual.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to effectively and quickly respond to and resolve emergencies.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work order system experience.
  • Practical experience in the following: Electrical, HVAC, Generator and UPS operation, fire alarms, and building security.
  • Previous supervisory and/or team lead experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 400+ sites across the Southeast Region
  • Work order Management – Receive, review, and prioritize daily work orders.
  • Track work orders from submission to completion.
  • Manage urgent/emergency requests in real time.
  • Provide Timely updates on all open workorders and potential delays.
  • Receive Janitorial complaints – Track Responses, resolution, and communicate back to the originator.
  • Dispatch vendors upon receiving work orders.
  • Follow up with the vendor for Progress, completion, and documentation.
  • Handle escalations when vendors miss timelines or have poor communication with site leads.
  • Review vendor quotes for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain multiple quotes for repairs over the capital threshold.
  • Respond to Mold complaints.
  • Communicate with the EHS team regarding Mold Mitigation, Remediation, and Restoration.
  • Monitor the general Mailbox as well as the personal Mailbox for project-related requests and/or complaints
  • Gather information and respond to regulatory complaints and investigations regarding HVAC, plumbing, etc.
  • Balance Priorities and Manage Daily, Weekly, and Monthly KPI goals and metrics.
  • Receive, review, and approve all Invoices from Janitorial and Maintenance vendors.
  • Contact vendors if discrepancies are noted for resolution.
  • Be available for after-hours response when needed.
  • Handle urgent issues outside of normal hours.
  • Assist with the coordination of local refresh projects.
  • Work to include, but not limited to, Paint, Flooring, and minor remodels.
  • Communicate/Coordinate with property Managers/Landlords depending on responsibility, based on lease agreements.
  • Work with off-site remote support staff.
  • Staff will assist in the assignment of tickets to vendors.
  • 25% Travel. Travel through the region, performing facility assessments on patient service centers.
  • Partnership and support of Sr. leaders to report on trends and recommend proactive solutions to reduce preventable work disruptions at Patient Service Centers.
  • Must be available after hours in case of emergencies.
