About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that maintenance, repair, remodeling, and renovation tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team, enforcing safety practices, and maintaining compliance with relevant codes and standards, all while delivering high-quality service to guests.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
• Journeyman ship in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Three years of facilities experience in a high volume, complex resort/casino required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Working knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and kitchen mechanics.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480v.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a supervisory role within facilities management.
• Certifications in relevant fields such as OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility during assigned shifts.
• Ensure timely completion of work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Promote and enforce safety practices within the department.
• Prepare reports on department progress as required by senior management.
• Secure and manage all keys issued and in inventory during assigned shifts.
• Respond to emergencies according to established procedures and direct team members accordingly.
• Ensure quality and consistent presentation of services delivered to guests.
• Maintain compliance with the National Electric Code.
• Assist in training and supervising staff to meet job requirements.
• Implement new best practices or procedures as needed.
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of all aspects of the facilities on property.
• Schedule department work and enforce attendance policies.
• Ensure all work is performed with care to prevent damage.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
