About The Position

The Facilities Staff position at ConnextCare is a part-time role focused on maintaining cleanliness and safety within the facility. The staff member will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas, including suites, offices, and hallways, are kept in good condition. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to infection control guidelines, making it essential for the well-being of both staff and patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not necessary.
• Ability to work independently and maintain self-protection from infection.
• Awareness of confidentiality importance in all aspects of the position.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each suite daily to ensure cleaning protocols are followed, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors.
• Empty 'blue bins' of patient sensitive documents daily and prepare them for shredding.
• Refill supplies such as toilet tissue, soap, towels, and facial tissue as needed.
• Check and empty hazardous waste containers when necessary.
• Process recyclables daily by breaking them down for pickup.
• Set up rooms for meetings as per the schedule provided.
• Ensure walls and baseboards are clean and free of marks or stains.
• Receive deliveries and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipient.
• Vacuum and maintain cleanliness in offices and hallways according to specifications.
• Wash windows at front and back entrances daily.
• Maintain all lavatories, ensuring cleanliness and adequate supplies.
• Participate in in-services regarding infection control guidelines.
• Assist with light maintenance duties, including changing light bulbs and shoveling snow in winter.
• Inspect grounds for safety and make necessary adjustments to ensure a safe environment.
• Monitor exits and drainage areas for proper function and safety.
• Advise supervisor of low inventory items used by the department.
• Adhere to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
