About The Position

Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets. The Facilities Specialist will support the organization in ensuring the effective operation and safety of company facilities. This role involves hands-on tasks, coordination with external vendors, and supporting office operations to ensure a comfortable and efficient working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical certification in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in facilities management, hospitality, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily and continuous support for all of the operations including but not limited to: offices, public spaces, drinking fountains, kitchen, and restroom facilities.
  • Performs housekeeping including but not limited to furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, emptying of trash cans.
  • Perform proper handling of food deliveries, catering and event management including setup and serving.
  • Provide general support to ensure the smooth operation of the office, including setting up meeting rooms, managing waste disposal, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related inquiries and requests from employees.
  • Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to supervisor.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Food and beverage ordering, receiving and maintaining.
