About The Position

Under general supervision, performs a variety of housekeeping duties in order to maintain building and facilities at the Home Office complex. This job is for the 2nd Shift, from 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday, with no exceptions to the schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • This position requires the incumbent to work holidays as needed.
  • Position requires incumbent to climb ladders and work at a height of 12 feet on occasion.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience cleaning Commercial office space preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of housekeeping duties, including sweeping, cleaning, disinfecting, washing, scrubbing and polishing. Uses a floor buffer to maintain hard floors and carpeting and uses a carpet extraction machine to perform water extraction of carpet.
  • Performs manual lifting as required and moving, and rearrangement of furniture for class room setups and for after hours functions that take place.
  • Assists in ordering supplies online and maintaining inventory of materials and supplies related to assigned work.
  • Cleans windows, sweeps pavements, hoses sidewalks or performs additional duties as directed.
  • Performs limited preventive maintenance on cleaning equipment as necessary.
