About The Position

The Facilities Senior Sourcing Manager will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction. This role requires in-depth knowledge of best practices and how the sourcing area integrates with others, as well as a working knowledge of competition and market differentiators. The position is hybrid, located within commuting distance of Evendale, OH, with an additional 10% travel requirement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Commodity Management.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on complex, high dollar projects around the world to create a streamlined and repeatable outcome.
  • Convey performance expectations to suppliers and handle sensitive issues.
  • Coordinate with regional sourcing partners globally to understand local conditions and execute purchase orders in local ERP systems if necessary.
  • Define the medium- and long-term direction of construction strategy for GE Aerospace.
  • Focus on industrial project management and complex construction projects.
  • Manage Master Service Agreements and other legal documents with global companies, emphasizing construction and industrial service industries.
  • Create a repeatable Facilities and Properties sourcing standard process for global implementation.
  • Assist with Total Cost of Ownership and long-term capital planning across the enterprise.
  • Define supplier strategy, manage and optimize supplier panels, lead negotiations, and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
  • Develop specialized expertise in the job discipline or field and contribute to strategy and policy development.
  • Communicate complex messages effectively and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks impacting the function using technical experience and data analysis.
