This role offers the outstanding chance to define and develop PLC programs using Siemens automation systems, ensuring flawless functionality and integration of vital infrastructure components such as chilled water systems, exhaust scrubbers, MAUs, bulk chemical distribution, ultra-pure water, and wastewater systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in SCADA system management or industrial automation.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, PLC programming tools (e.g. Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and FasTrak 505 Workshop), and industrial control systems.
  • Experience with SCADA software, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity standard methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of experience in SCADA/PLC systems in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with AVEVA InTouch HMI systems or equivalent.
  • Experience with SQL, HMI development, and technical documentation.
  • Skilled in interpreting P&IDs and operational sequences.
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g. PROFIBUS, PROFINET).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the SCADA engineering team, including onboarding and skill development.
  • Oversee daily functionality and maintenance of SCADA systems supporting TD, and ID1 operational objectives.
  • Coordinate multi-functional efforts with IT, Facilities, and Environmental teams to ensure seamless integration and reporting capabilities.
  • Manage SCADA project scope, timelines, and team member engagement.
  • Support the design and implementation of new infrastructure and automation solutions, including IoT integrations and power monitoring systems.
  • Provide technical leadership in solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to SCADA systems.
  • Drive strategic decisions and support corporate initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
