Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Facilities Representative - Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team in McLean VA. Our Facilities Representative will ensure a safe and well-maintained environment by managing vendors, executing conferences and events, managing logistics, overseeing supplies, all while adhering to safety regulations and budgets. This position plays a key role in managing workplace operations and space utilization to support both employee needs and organizational efficiency.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications for Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Basic Qualifications for Level 4: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management - OR - Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven expertise in planning and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/clients.
• Ability to interact effectively with a variety of management levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite - specifically high-level Excel skills.
• No clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building and equipment maintenance, including scheduling preventative maintenance and responding to urgent issues.
• Manage service contracts and liaise with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workspace for employees.
• Assist with organizing events and coordinating office moves or renovations.
• Develop event concepts, goals, and objectives.
• Create event schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate event logistics, including setup, decorations, and AV equipment.
• Handle on-site event management and problem-solving.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor payments.
• Manage event databases and records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
