Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Facilities Representative Level 2 or Level 3 to support our facility engineering team at our San Diego, California location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of combined project management, facilities construction project management, or facilities management experience with OR Master's Degree. NOTE: An additional 3 years of stated work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of construction related disciplines. Able to communicate effectively and clearly to present technical approaches and findings.
  • Work with subject matter experts, suppliers, etc. (as required) to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and solve issues related to mechanical system, machines and or material assemblies.
  • Prepares Scopes of Work and supporting documents for procurement of design and construction services.
  • Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience in Construction and Project planning
  • Experience with Archibus/Integrated workplace management software
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience budget tracking
  • Familiarity with multiple construction disciplines
  • Ability to read drawings, schematics, and interpret details
  • Experience in permitting processes, demolition, hazard abatement

Responsibilities

  • Purchase requisition tracking
  • Contractor scheduling
  • Developing, measuring, and maintaining the department metrics
  • Project planning support
  • Tracking of estimate requests and capital requests
  • Permitting, safety requirements and oversight for contract safety and labor
  • Attending various daily meetings
  • Execute and track purchase card expenditures
  • Presenting metrics during department meetings
