About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will you will play a key role in coordinating facilities maintenance and vendor work to support Blue Origin's launch and test activities. This position is crucial to ensuring seamless operations around mission-critical events, driving our commitment to safe and repeatable space flight forward.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in facilities planning, coordination, and scheduling within a dynamic operational environment.
  • Proven experience working with facility management software and tools for planning and scheduling.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating across various levels of personnel and management.
  • Ability to travel up to 15 to 20% as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Facilities management certification (FMP/CFM) is desirable.
  • Experience in facilities management within aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
  • Working knowledge of Maximo and/or Smartsheets.
  • Familiarity with project management software like Primavera (P6) or MS Project.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mission and launch pad operations to deconflict and align facilities maintenance work with launch and test schedules.
  • Develop and manage a strategic integrated master schedule (IMS) and maintenance plan that supports program schedules and operational needs.
  • Coordinate and supervise vendor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in daily operations meetings to communicate facilities-related impacts on schedules and derive mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report on facilities maintenance schedules and their impact on operational goals.
  • Identify and escalate potential facilities constraints or issues impacting program schedules.
  • Foster collaboration with program leadership, engineering, and operations to ensure aligned scheduling deliverables.
