Job Title : Facilities Purchasing Administrator Reporting To: Manager, Glbl Oper Transformation Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Facilities Purchasing Administrator to join them. You will report to the Senior Program Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in a purchasing environment that included buying responsibilities, preferably in business or finance related role.
  • Typically, Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, Finance, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to evaluate, execute, and document purchase requisitions (ePRs) and procurement statement of work (SOW) reviews across Facilities departments.
  • Provide effective, timely, courteous, and consistently improving requisitioning services support.
  • Meet work deadlines within priorities and with minimal oversight or issues.
  • Create and edit Microsoft Office documentation (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as specific systems for procurement processes.
  • Understand strategic business objectives and effectively execute the procurement activities to drive corresponding results.
  • Use ability to build relationships and collaborate within the various stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain established work processes and workflows as required by the purchasing, finance, and Facilities organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve department operations or supplier relations through observation of past actions taken and consideration of supplier's suggestions.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple concurrent projects is required as well as flexibility in a complex environment.
