About The Position

We are seeking a Facilities & Projects Engineer to support the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of our refinery facilities and infrastructure. This engineering role is focused on facility infrastructure, utilities, and project execution, including maintenance-driven and capital improvement initiatives. The position partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, and EHS while coordinating external vendors to deliver projects that enhance safety, performance, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced industrial environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience supporting industrial facilities, utilities, or infrastructure systems required
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proven experience supporting or leading projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with contractors and managing vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel; CMMS experience a plus
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must meet ITAR and NAID eligibility requirements
  • Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment drug testing

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for facility infrastructure, utilities, and building systems
  • Lead and support maintenance-driven and capital improvement projects from design through execution
  • Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, and project documentation
  • Coordinate and manage external contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely execution
  • Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and EHS to resolve facility and infrastructure-related issues
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and systems-related challenges impacting operations
  • Support and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and engineering records
  • Identify and implement opportunities for reliability, efficiency, and safety improvements
