About The Position

Dematic has an immediate need for a Facilities Project Manager in our North America Headquarters located in Grand Rapids, MI. This position will be responsible for managing multiple corporate facility projects, assets and properties, owned and leased, including planning, establishing, controlling, and maintaining facility assets and services for each in accordance with corporate expectations and/or guidelines. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $76,500 - $112,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: This is what you will do in this role: Manage all owned and leased properties space planning activities including establishing requirements, identification, acquisition or termination, and project management of relocation services Conduct site inspections to assess and document physical conditions of owned and leased properties to determine the need and extent of service(s) and equipment required Construction project management of facility additions, relocations & renovations, effectively managing development, planning and execution of scope, quality, schedules, and cost Provide reliable availability and preventive maintenance of facility mechanical systems, power systems, building automation control systems, life/safety systems Space management services include monitoring existing available space, forecasted space needs, office space planning, and manage relocation activities Environmental & other regulatory permitting, reporting, & records for required for facility operation, in compliance to local, state and federal codes and requirements Develop and manage annual operating expense and capital budgets, monthly variance reporting and forecasting, and project cost control Assist with new lease or termination negotiations, performs lease administration, tenant improvements, coordination and construction Manage contracted services for owned and leased properties, developing bid requirements, monitoring performance, invoicing, and quality of work Promote identification implementation, and management of Green and Sustainability measures on a cost-effective basis Establish and achieve Departmental Key Performance Indicators in support of corporate guidelines What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, with 5+ years’ relevant work experience preferred Facilities Management (IFMA) certification & Boiler Operator/Engineer License preferred Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Proficiency in both Facility Management & Property Management with strong planning, budget, expense, and lease management Communicate in clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization Flexible with time and work schedule for a 24/7/365 facilities emergency service and continuity responsibility #LI-AP1 KION brands keep the world moving – globally, regionally, and locally. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, with 5+ years’ relevant work experience preferred
Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in both Facility Management & Property Management with strong planning, budget, expense, and lease management
Communicate in clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
Flexible with time and work schedule for a 24/7/365 facilities emergency service and continuity responsibility

Nice To Haves

Facilities Management (IFMA) certification & Boiler Operator/Engineer License preferred

Responsibilities

Manage all owned and leased properties space planning activities including establishing requirements, identification, acquisition or termination, and project management of relocation services
