About The Position

The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing facility-related projects to ensure efficient operations, maintenance, and improvements. This role involves managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and oversee facility projects, including renovations, maintenance upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, making necessary adjustments to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential project obstacles.
  • Oversee routine maintenance programs and ensure optimal operation of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, office technology, access controls, and audio-visual systems.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance facility efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, contracts, and compliance records.
  • Primarily office-based with regular site visits required.
  • Travel may be necessary to oversee construction, buildouts, or facilities projects.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project timelines.
