This position will report directly to the Facility Engineering Team Leader and will be responsible for providing engineering services to safely meet the location's business plan by providing engineering support to production, maintenance, and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to provide documentation in the original form establishing both your identity and your employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items you must be able to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ACAD and Inventor design software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project software.
  • Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in a diverse industrial environment.
  • Ability to rapidly grasp concepts and understand processes.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of facility infrastructure systems.
  • Experience with Investment Casting.

Responsibilities

  • Specify new production equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
  • Develop functional specifications.
  • Work with suppliers and contractors on procurement and implementation of production equipment and infrastructure support.
  • Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
  • Provide maintenance engineering and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Generate contract scope of work documents and cost estimates.
  • Oversee contractor work and monitor safe work practices.
  • Act as single point accountable person for EHS policies.
  • Comply with Company, Federal, and State EHS policies.
  • Occasional travel required.
