As a Facilities Power Distribution Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliability, operation, and optimization of medium and low voltage power distribution systems supporting a high-tech semiconductor facility. This role requires strong analytical and project management capabilities, as well as experience in electrical design, power modeling, maintenance strategy, and infrastructure life-cycle planning.

Requirements

Strong technical background in low and medium voltage systems (12.47kV & 35kV).
Proven ability to model electrical systems and conduct load flow analysis.
Demonstrated success leading complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
Solid knowledge of maintenance planning, asset management, and electrical system reliability.
Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate with utility partners and manage supplier relationships effectively.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required.

Nice To Haves

Other certifications related to power systems or project management are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead audits, analysis, and technical support for low and medium voltage (12.47kV and 35kV) electrical power systems.
Manage complex electrical engineering initiatives, including coordination with cross-functional stakeholders such as design teams, construction, R&D, and field operations.
Review and approve electrical design specifications, maintenance procedures, and operational protocols for power supply units and battery backup systems.
Ensure all systems meet quality, reliability, and compliance KPIs.
Monitor trends in system utilization, capacity, and performance. Develop virtual sensors and work plans to detect and resolve adverse conditions.
Create and maintain schedules for maintenance, repair, and system health metrics reporting.
Conduct equipment test reviews and determine asset life expectancy through life extension evaluations.
Develop long-term replacement strategies and manage change control processes.
Oversee projects impacting power systems and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
Model and troubleshoot electrical systems and collaborate with utility providers to maintain quality of electrical supply.
