Reporting to the Facilities & Safety Coordinator, the Facilities Porter will hold the responsibility for day-to-day building cleaning and upkeep for the Lancaster Pennsylvania Fulfillment location. These tasks include, but are not limited to, corrugated and trash collection, corrugate and trash bailing/compacting, pallet collection and location upkeep. Pay $20.50/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM

Requirements

  • Visual and hearing capability
  • Ability to maintain attendance as defined by company policy
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to operate general office equipment i.e. photocopier, computer printer station
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, crawl, as needed
  • Ability to lift, lower, push and pull up to 75lbs
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods and walk long distances while on shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions within assigned duties including, but not limited to the hands, wrists, fingers, and back
  • Willing to work overtime/flexible work hours
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general building upkeep and cleaning
  • Use the floor scrubber to clean the floors
  • Pick up debris from floor as needed
  • Perform basic cleaning and organization of the warehouse
  • Collect trash, corrugate, and plastic to be compacted/bailed
  • Utilize the cardboard/plastic bailer & the trash compactor
  • Oversee and responsible for the bin box line & gaylords
  • Required to be able to operate equipment
  • Ability to utilize the bailer and trash compactor
  • Maintain all safety standards of the warehouse including training certifications, fire lane access and all other safety requirements
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • All other duties as assigned
