About The Position

Manages and coordinates architectural planning work including the development of conceptual designs, programming, and code analysis for healthcare and workplace environments for small to mid-sized projects. Also performs design drawings up through complete construction documents for architectural work associated with certain projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Design or equivalent years of education, training and experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience in Healthcare planning and design
  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan

Responsibilities

  • Assesses space-related issues and needs. Develops alternatives for review and approval and anticipates the outcomes of each alternative course of action.
  • Manages the development of professional design consultant services for small and mid-sized projects.
  • Occasionally produce design drawings including conceptual up to construction documents for architectural work associated with building & construction and improvement for small and mid-sized projects.
  • Prepares alternate design schemes, project phasing, project records and reports for building renovations and/or new construction.
  • Functions as an architectural consultant to all departments, units and other staff with regard to planning, design and construction of renovations and additions.
  • Communicates and collaborates with other members of the project team including clients, design staff, project managers, contractors and service departments.
  • Manages Architectural and Engineering consultants to create and implement design plans.
  • Performs individual assignments as management may direct.
