About The Position

Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. The Facilities Operator will operate, maintain, and repair various machinery and equipment in a designated area such as edible oil production, meal production, water treatment and fuel farm.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical ability.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree or Trade School certification in a related field.
• Strong computer skills.
• OSHA 10 and 30 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools to perform basic adjustments and maintenance to equipment under the supervision of a senior operator.
• Monitors various operation indicators such as fuel or material levels and auger speeds to ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Assists with other operating tasks under direction of a senior operator.
• Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
• Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
