This position involves performing cleaning of any area as assigned to ensure a clean, sanitized, dust-free, and contamination-free environment. The role requires working to verbal and written instructions of supervision, performing a variety of cleaning operations, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial cleaning duties including sweeping, dry and wet mopping, stripping floors, and using cleaning solutions and solvents.
• Wax, treat, buff, and polish floors.
• Clean and polish desks and other office furniture.
• Wash walls, glass partitions, windows, blinds, lights, and light reflectors reachable from the ground.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of washrooms and restrooms.
• Dispose of general waste and recycling appropriately.
• Sweep and clean outside areas adjacent to outside doors.
• Maintain records, move materials, and follow safety rules in performance of duties.
• Perform other similar duties as required or directed.
