Position Overview: Dutch Bros is looking for an individual to join our Facilities team for the summer Emerging Talent Program. As part of the Facilities Department, this individual supports Retail Operations by facilitating the initiation, adjustment or termination of utilities and planned maintenance services. The role is responsible for assisting in the communication and administration in support of this function. The role will also assist in the monitoring and responding to inquiries, work requests, and other initiatives involving Facilities Management. For the duration of the program (June 1st - July 31st) housing will be provided, however reliable transportation is needed to and from the program. Additionally, the program is rooted in professional development, full-time employment conversion is not guaranteed.

  • Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
  • Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
  • Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
  • Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Coordination of utilities and planned services for assigned sites: Maintain and initiate facilities maintenance requests and planned maintenance procedures and programs
  • Coordinate payment information and applications with the various utility agencies and notify Finance of the account information
  • Track opening dates to ensure timely completion of utility services
  • Ensure all necessary requirements are completed to establish accounts with local utility companies from construction to shop opening
  • Assist with administrative duties and record keeping per DB standards: Collect, compile, and evaluate data regarding the performance of all aspects of site, Service Providers, facility and equipment maintenance
  • Track, manage, and upload documents into Lucernex for each project
  • Use of tracking reports and Lucernex (Lx)
  • Assist with Ecotrak platform management
  • Understand the organization, operation, and processes of the Facilities and Construction Departments necessary to successfully accomplish assigned responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation of annual ESG report
  • Assist in preparation of Annual Budget Planning
  • Assist with project coordination
  • Assist with response to regular and urgent work requests: Help identify and assist with regular, urgent and emergency service requests
  • Help resolve or escalate issues that may cause interruption to operational services as directed by Facilities Management
  • Help to initiate warranty service requests with general contractors, equipment manufacturers and/or their authorized vendors
  • Initiate/Adjust/Terminate Services for maintenance service and utility service, as needed
  • May be requested for travel and site visits with RFM and PM
