As a Facilities Operations Manager, you direct a team that operates and maintains all Facilities systems across the site. The Operations team responds first to all site-wide Facilities events. Your area covers the entire facilities infrastructure, including Specialty and Bulk Gas and Chemical storage and distribution, Air and Environment Conditioning Supply, Water Conditioning and distribution, Wastewater Treatment, and Building infrastructure systems. This role significantly impacts site success. You must demonstrate strong team management, leadership mentoring, clear communication, and inter-departmental relationship building. You will lead all aspects of personnel development. Your vision and input on the Facilities group's direction are valued and encouraged. While you may not possess all the skills listed below, we seek a team member eager to grow in technical breadth and depth. Requirements

  • +5 Years of leading/developing an operations team in the semiconductor industry or a similar industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in building and equipment commissioning.
  • Background in facility and building management

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience managing multi-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and collaborator management skills, with the ability to collaborate, multitask, and make independent decisions

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning of all FAB supporting equipment
  • Support EHSS Standards
  • Prevent and detect threats to personal safety and ecological well-being.
  • Maintain 100% certification on required EHSS training.
  • Provide team members with the resources they need to fulfill EHSS responsibilities.
  • Communicate and implement protocols focused on workplace and ecological protections
  • Implement corrective actions when gaps are identified.
  • Develop facilities maintenance and operational procedures
  • Lead and mentor technicians and engineers in plant utilities management.
  • Develop and maintain a Facilities Management System for maintenance scheduling and inventory control.
  • Act as first responder for site-wide facilities incidents
  • Serve as the site's voice in global facilities forums for standardization and quality programs
  • Act on behalf of the site during customer and certification audits.
  • Advise and supervise operational efficiency improvements
  • Track and drive departmental key performance indicators
  • Develop working relationships with Facilities Managers and Supervisors to foster collaboration.
  • Champion and communicate organizational policies and objectives
  • Develop and implement departmental standards and procedures.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to maintain plant operations.
  • Direct plant support systems to minimize production impact
  • Set and communicate departmental goals and expectations
  • Cultivate an engaging and high-performance team culture
  • Build robust succession pipelines at all levels
  • Model and promote continuous leadership development
  • Drive performance management accountability and adoption
  • Identify and fulfill team development needs
  • Develop budgets aligned to strategic site objectives
  • Monitor department costs (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Promote a cost-conscious culture.
  • Identify and implement strategic cost optimization initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize staffing models for operational excellence
