Facilities On-Call
About The Position
Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for flexible and self-motivated Facilities staff to join the on-call team. This person will assist with facilities activities to ensure clean and safe environments for campus events. Someone with a servant heart and enjoys physical activity will thrive in this role. If you love to work alongside a team and have a flexible availability, you may be a perfect candidate. POSITION SUMMARY Supports campus ministries and events by helping to keep the campus clean and welcoming to attenders. Completes event set-up and tear-down duties as assigned. Reports to the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Physical ability for cleaning and operating cleaning equipment
- Able to walk and stand up to 90% of workday
- Lifting and loading up to 30 pounds
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Flexible work hours
Responsibilities
- Assists with Facilities duties including set-up and tear-down for all campus events
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility (i.e., vacuuming, trash, restrooms, general cleaning, etc.)
- Helps to maintain building furnishings, equipment, and operating systems
- Supports safety and security for the campus
- Distributes daily deliveries
- Clears walkways as needed
- Other projects as assigned
