About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Facilities Multi Services Manager (Level K) to support the Equipment and Site Services teams onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah . This position will be responsible for 2 buildings (Airport Building – 93-201 and Northport Building – 93-204). This First Line Leader will have both hourly and salaried employees as they will manage Equipment Services and Site Services. Employees will be equipment technicians or facilities project administrators. This manager will be responsible for both site and equipment services, spare part inventory, and overseeing subcontractors (approximately 6 full-time on-site at both buildings) and should split their time between the 2 buildings as evenly as possible. This manager will also have nightshift employees and be responsible for their work as well.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience in using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
  • 1+ years of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in tooling and equipment services
  • 1+ years of experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation

Responsibilities

  • Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
