Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Leidos Holdings Inc.Springfield, VA
50d$104,650 - $189,175

About The Position

Leidos is seeking an experienced Facilities Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, maintenance, and configuration management of building mechanical systems across mission-critical sites. This role demands deep technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and leadership in projects involving air handlers, chillers, boilers, pumping systems, and other complex mechanical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and troubleshooting mechanical and control systems in dynamic environments. At Leidos, we don't want someone who "fits the mold"-we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, "what's next?" before the dust settles on "what's now." If you're already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You'll fit right in.

  • Demonstrated expertise in CAD tools such as AutoCAD.
  • Experience developing mechanical systems for commercial HVAC applications.
