About The Position

The Facilities Material Planner supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: Provide analytical support to Organizational Leadership in performing their Material Planner responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and review costs, schedules, and material procurement plans Coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials timed to meet project and operational requirements Be responsible for coordination of material acquisition and maintenance of Bill of Material (BOM) information Collaborate with customers and other members of the Procurement Team Will work in the Remedy/Kinetic system Assist other Material Planners as needed The successful candidate will: Be able to demonstrate proficient communication skills Be able to work in a highly paced environment Have excellent organizational skills Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. This position is expected to pay $ 26.04/hour - $ 31.25/hour ; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. Requirements

  • Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
  • Must have 2, or more, years of administrative work experience
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience purchasing a variety of material types and working under a DCMA approved purchasing system
  • Have experience working within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
