About The Position

Ethos Cannabis is seeking a passionate, driven, and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to lead and collaborate in creating a safe, productive, and pleasant physical work environment. This role is crucial in supporting the company's efforts to maximize sales, margin, and profit with a strong customer service focus. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the safety, security, maintenance, vendor management, and supply chain of our cultivation and production facility located in Fitchburg. The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to our business model and demonstrate leadership experience, as they will be entrusted with significant responsibilities over the facilities to deliver a best-in-class and innovative cannabis product. While previous cannabis experience is a plus, it is not required; however, candidates should possess some familiarity and comfort with cannabis. We are committed to building a strong ethical and team-oriented culture at Ethos Cannabis, and we are looking for this position to help lead and implement this vision. The Facilities Manager will maintain all facilities equipment, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring efficient operation and productivity targets. They will understand all aspects of production and adhere to strict safety, quality, sanitation, and production standards. This position will also manage facility vendors, service agreements, and repair schedules to keep operations running smoothly with proactive systems maintenance. A preventative maintenance schedule will be developed and integrated with site functions to minimize downtime and ensure facilities are maintained to Good Manufacturing Practice standards. The Facilities Manager will track and maintain spare parts inventory, ensure accurate documentation of repairs, site drawings, and equipment files, and work with leaders to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and legal regulations. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will develop and oversee an accident prevention plan, including fire, safety, evacuation, laboratory, and facility SOPs. They will collaborate with compliance, security, and transportation teams regarding compliance, loss prevention, security, and logistics. Logistical support for production functions, including supply procurement and distribution logistics, will also be part of their responsibilities. The Facilities Manager will lead facility initiatives and specific projects assigned by the Grow & Processing Leadership group, manage the Facilities Technician and Sanitation teams, and communicate relevant metrics demonstrating improvements in downtime, spend, and work quality. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
