About The Position

The facilities account manager will be the single point of contact on ABM's behalf responsible for the delivery of quality facility management services. This role oversees integrated facility services which include managing maintenance, custodial services, and contracted service contracts. The manager acts as the primary liaison with all customer departments, ensuring that service is prompt, responsive, and effective, while addressing and resolving inter-departmental concerns for ABM covered service activities. Daily responsibilities include performing walk-throughs of the Hillsboro, OR site to ensure safe and efficient operation of the property and its equipment, creating work order tickets, and overseeing their timely completion. The manager is also responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising all tasks related to operations and maintenance within the portfolio, ensuring a balance between reactive and preventive maintenance activities. Additionally, the role involves financial oversight, quality assurance, and compliance with corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of crafts within Facility Operations including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and concepts.
  • A minimum of five years Facility Operations experience including three years of leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PC operations and software applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to operate within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Corrigo).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee integrated facility services including managing maintenance, custodial services, and contracted service contracts.

  • Create work order tickets and oversee their timely completion.
  • Review work orders in Corrigo for all ABM covered properties.
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise tasks for building systems operations and maintenance.
  • Balance reactive and preventive maintenance activities and monitor maintenance backlogs.
  • Assist in negotiating major service contracts and prepare annual escalations.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for Facilities Management.
  • Evaluate performance of ABM personnel and provide guidance and training.
  • Maintain compliance with customer and ABM corporate policies.
  • Schedule quarterly business review meetings with clients and prepare documentation.
  • Provide regular monthly status reports to customers and ABM management.
