About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the facility, ensuring high-quality services for customers. This role involves managing a team, vendor relations, safety and security compliance, and financial reporting, all aimed at creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in facilities services or a related field preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with outside vendors and budget management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in accounts payable/receivable.
  • Ability to identify strong talent that complements the client's environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with overall management and operations of the facility.
  • Manage the hiring process and professional development of the team.
  • Organize and manage daily activities and events, including project and move management.
  • Develop office standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage vendor contracts and vendor relations.
  • Ensure safety and security for the facility, including emergency response plans.
  • Monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and track financial reports, attendance, payroll, and inventory.
