About The Position

The position is responsible for leading multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for Life Sciences facilities in Athens, GA. This role emphasizes client relationship management and oversight of maintenance activities, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or management areas is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and lead repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Review work orders to ensure assignments are completed.
  • Conduct facilities inspections and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate and manage moves, adds, and change activities.
  • Acquire and review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Lead capital projects and prepare related budget and variance reports.
  • Manage vendor relationships and train vendors on work order and billing procedures.
  • Process invoices and ensure accuracy of cost center coding.
  • Utilize PC and/or PDA for work order systems, email, and training.
  • Provide process and procedure training.
  • Conduct financial/business analysis and prepare reports.
