About The Position

The Facilities Manager at Canon Healthcare USA, Inc. will oversee the transition to a new facility on the Cleveland Clinic Campus, managing all aspects of facility maintenance, equipment installation, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the facilities, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and coordinating emergency response efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Building, or Property Maintenance.
• 5 years of experience in building or property management.
• Proven trade skills in mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and roofing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work on facility equipment.
• Knowledge and experience in reading mechanical and facility drawings.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with disaster recovery and emergency response planning.
• Familiarity with budget management and vendor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facilities-related issues, budgets, and company property matters, including security and environmental issues.
• Serve as the single point of contact for facilities-related information.
• Oversee large projects such as renovations and emergency safety drills.
• Manage security companies and ensure all security systems are operational.
• Coordinate the installation of building equipment and oversee vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all codes and regulations for the building.
• Act as the emergency response coordinator, scheduling training and maintaining records.
• Operate and maintain utilities including HVAC systems and process equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings and mechanical equipment.
• Plan and execute improvements to facilities as needed.
