About The Position

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations, maintenance, and safety of the warehouse facility. This role ensures the warehouse environment is fully operational, compliant with all regulatory standards, and optimized for efficiency. The Facility Manager will work closely with operations, safety, maintenance teams, and external vendors to maintain a high‑performing and safe workplace.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of facility management, warehouse maintenance, or operations experience.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency with facility management software and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
  • OSHA certification (e.g., OSHA 30).
  • Knowledge of automation systems or material‑handling equipment.
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and fire‑suppression systems.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and inspections with vendors and contractors.
  • Monitor warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with facility standards.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Ability to work with PIP Global Safety Leaders and Site HSE Manager.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation for safety logs, inspections, incident reports, and compliance audits.
  • Lead emergency preparedness planning, including evacuation plans and drills.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for safety and efficient product flow.
  • Manage dock operations infrastructure, including doors, levelers, and material‑handling equipment.
  • Track facility equipment inventory and ensure proper functioning and replacement scheduling.
  • Select, manage, and evaluate facility vendors and service providers.
  • Review and negotiate contracts for maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, security, and other services.
  • Assist in developing and managing the facility operating budget.
  • Ensure cost‑effective facility operations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to support operational goals.
  • Provide directions to maintenance staff or contractors.
  • Communicate facility statuses, risks, and improvement plans to senior management.
