About The Position

Lead all facilities and maintenance operations across a 120,000 sq ft manufacturing plant Ensure reliability and uptime of 200+ production machines and supporting infrastructure Oversee complex building systems, including: HVAC (chillers, cooling towers, air handling systems) Electrical distribution and backup power systems Internal water reclamation and wastewater systems Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs Manage capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, expansions, and system retrofits Own and manage facilities budget (operating + capital) Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and applicable environmental standards Lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff and external contractors Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and EHS teams to support operational goals Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, efficiency, and cost reduction

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years facilities, maintenance, or plant engineering experience
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Proven experience managing complex facility systems (HVAC, electrical, water/wastewater)
  • Strong knowledge of safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance
  • Experience managing budgets and capital projects

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  • Certifications such as: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) – IFMA Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) – SMRP
  • Experience with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, Fiix, UpKeep)
  • Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or SCADA
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
