About The Position

FACILITIES MANAGER FULL TIME Kennesaw, GA 2026-2027 Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the school facility at the NCA Kennesaw campus. This position begins on June 1, 2026 and reports to the Director of Operations. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly. Takes care of routine maintenance (painting, minor plumbing repairs, small general repairs, etc.) as necessary. Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs for our school vehicles. Coordinate repairs, replacements, or acquisitions as needed. Liaise with external vendors and contractors for facility-related services, ensuring timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints. Coordinating receipt and distribution of larger deliveries. Assisting with safety inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all are up-to-date. Assisting with landscaping duties (ant treatment, grounds cleaning, weed control, etc.). Assisting with carline and other shared schoolwide duties as needed. Overseeing incoming facilities work orders for tasks such as (but not limited to) hanging items, adjusting desks, moving furniture, etc. Coordinating setup and breakdown from school events. Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required Five years or related experience preferred Ideal candidate is handy with most minor construction projects and repairs, and unfazed by the request to clean up minor disasters, accidents, and mishaps. Be a motivated self-starter and take pride in the appearance of the school and grounds. Strong candidates will support the school’s Mission: to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility. Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Five years or related experience preferred
