About The Position

The Facilities Manager at Flex is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing various functions within the facilities organization. This includes maintenance and alterations of office, manufacturing, warehouse, and landscaped areas, as well as ensuring efficient operations and compliance with safety regulations. The role involves supervising maintenance personnel, managing budgets, and coordinating facility modifications to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities engineering or related field, including supervision.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated mastery of expertise in multiple areas and industry.
  • Ability to present information to top management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HVAC systems and computer network wiring.
  • Familiarity with environmental and energy agency regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee maintenance and alteration of office, manufacturing, warehouse, and landscaped areas.
  • Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and standardize facilities procedures to improve efficiencies.
  • Define work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
  • Coordinate purchase orders within budget guidelines and file monthly reports.
  • Manage the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of building structures and equipment.
  • Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities.
  • Plan, budget, and schedule regional facilities modifications including cost estimates and contracts.
  • Develop long-range plans and capital outlay requirements for various facilities.
  • Oversee facilities safety and training programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
