As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will play a crucial role in delivering the highest standards of operations and maintenance across our portfolio. This position requires a strategic approach to managing financial goals, service contracts, and compliance with legal requirements, while also enforcing health and safety standards. You will interface daily with major occupancy buildings for a significant banking client, fostering strong working relationships and collaborating on all strategic initiatives and tactical facility management matters. Your leadership, responsiveness, and creativity will be essential in ensuring client satisfaction with the delivery of facility management services, providing a seamless interface to the client's real estate organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include tracking actual operating expenses against the planned budget, providing written analyses on spending, and implementing cost-saving measures to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also be responsible for executing small capital replacement projects for office sites, which involves planning, budgeting, developing specifications and scopes of work, bid solicitation, design and construction oversight, expense control, detailed work coordination, defect correction, and financial closing. Excellent planning and coordination skills are necessary as you will be responding to requests and delivering results within tight schedules. In addition, you will coordinate the operational aspects of the properties to protect, maintain, and improve the value of the client's assets. This includes periodic inspections of the properties to determine their condition and the extent of services required, as well as actively managing emergency service requests as needed. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the facilities operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the client's operations.
