About The Position

The Facilities Manager at California Dairies, Inc. (CDI) is responsible for overseeing all maintenance requirements at various CDI facilities, including the corporate headquarters and innovation center. This role involves managing capital projects, ensuring compliance with construction standards, and supporting safety and quality policies. The Facilities Manager will work closely with the VP of Engineering and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the facilities are well-maintained and operational.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid CA driver's license and ability to drive a vehicle.

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance requirements at CDI Corporate Headquarters, Innovation Center, Doe Street building, and Sunrise lab facilities.
• Develop scopes of work and contracts for maintenance support at CDI facilities.
• Manage facilities-related capital projects including roofing, paving, painting, and office remodeling.
• Ensure compliance with CDI Construction Standards and safety regulations.
• Provide solutions for maintenance needs including HVAC systems, janitorial services, and security system maintenance.
• Self-perform maintenance work or supervise contractors as needed.
• Write scopes of work and obtain bids from approved contractors.
• Coordinate work with CDI staff and review contractor work for adherence to standards.
• Report daily on work orders and activity reports.
