About The Position

The Facilities Manager – System serves in a dual-support role, partnering with the Director of Facilities and collaborating with Facilities Managers to support system-wide operations. This position is split between office-based coordination and field-based responsibilities, with workload distribution varying based on organizational needs. This role assists in the oversight and coordination of building and grounds maintenance, utilities, environmental and security systems, renovations, and new construction projects. The Facilities Manager – System also supports the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as repairs across clinic facilities, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. The position requires hands-on, skilled work in one or more building trades, including painting, carpentry, minor electrical, and other related crafts, to ensure the ongoing safety, functionality, and appearance of all facilities. This position’s schedule is Tuesday – Saturday.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Certificate or Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related filed from a community college or technical school.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License required and the ability to travel between clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Director of Facilities to create and maintain a budget.
  • Assists with project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Monitors and tracks different project milestones and deliverables.
  • Works with purchasing agent to get equipment ordered.
  • Works with various vendors on getting necessary equipment installed.
  • Helps represent Sunrise Community Health at construction meetings.
  • Assist in maintaining all buildings as needed.
  • Ready to be hands-on help at any site as needed.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with third-party service vendors (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, security).
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to plan, design, oversee, and facilitate major maintenance and construction projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and engage with employees to identify and address maintenance and repair needs.
  • Assist with providing accurate and timely reporting to Sunrise executive leadership regarding facilities activities.
  • Be available for on-call duty outside regular working hours and respond to emergency situations at any facility location as needed.
  • Assist with and perform installation, maintenance, repair tasks in various building trades, including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmithing, carpet installation, and mechanical work.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized maintenance or repair services.
  • Participate in facility-related project planning, including renovations, upgrades, and major repairs.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
