About The Position

The Facilities Manager (Multi-Site) at CarShop is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and maintaining the safety and functionality of multiple locations within the organization. This position is crucial in ensuring that all facilities meet safety regulations and operational standards. The Facilities Manager will negotiate contracts with service providers, inspect facilities regularly, and coordinate construction and renovation projects in collaboration with the General Managers of various locations. Reporting directly to the President of CarShop US, the Facilities Manager will conduct all business in alignment with the company's Mission, Vision, and Values. In this role, the Facilities Manager will coordinate all levels of maintenance required to keep CarShop facilities in safe and professional conditions. This includes collaborating with management on budgeting for facility needs, inspecting building structures to determine the necessity for repairs or renovations, and scheduling services with outside vendors as necessary. The Facilities Manager will also plan and coordinate installations such as telecommunications, heating, and electricity, while managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will supervise all facilities staff, including custodians, technicians, and groundskeepers, as well as external contractors. Ensuring proper building and grounds security measures are taken is also a key responsibility. The role requires controlling facility needs such as parking, space allocation, waste disposal, and preparation for changing weather conditions. The Facilities Manager will also handle insurance plans and service contracts, making this a comprehensive and dynamic position within the organization.
