About The Position

The Facilities Manager ensures the efficiency, safety and good working conditions of all facilities at an Eataly location. This role reports to the Director of Store Operations and oversees Facilities and Support team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manages team members: hires, schedules, trains, motivates, submits payroll and disciplines as necessary
  • Ensures efficiency and good working conditions of multiple 24-hour facilities, including but not limited to: walk-ins, refrigerator units, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services and off-site storage
  • Maintains accurate records of the conditions of all facilities in the building and creates a schedule of regular housekeeping and cleanliness for the store
  • Guarantees exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Assesses the ongoing condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment in order to anticipate needs and resolve problems
  • Ensures the safety of the building from fire, flood or other hazards
  • Oversees inventory and vendor relationships
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
