The Project Manager role is responsible for managing and serving as a representative for all facilities management initiatives. This individual provides expert knowledge and operational insight to internal departments in order to ensure successful roll outs of store-level initiatives. The Manager also identifies areas of opportunities and recommends solutions to ultimately enhance the operations of RaceTrac stores. Up to 20% travel required. What You'll Do: Leads Ops projects with a field perspective and serves as a subject matter expert and liaison between Field Ops and the Store Support Center. Serves as an advocate for Field Operations personnel and effectively communicates employee feedback to the appropriate department and establishes partnerships with field management and personnel to ensure Operations initiatives are aligning with the company’s overall goals. Manages the project lifecycle for multiple simultaneous Operations Initiatives from planning through execution. Communicates project plans and articulates roles, project goals, and timelines, while incorporating project lifecycle models. Analyzes operations spending and attending weekly and monthly operations performance reporting (including financial) meetings. Develops and maintains relationships between senior leadership and cross-functional departments within the Company. Carries out project support functions as needed, provides research and analytical data and information to Project Manager, administers team logistics, including but not limited to: team meetings, conference calls, meeting minutes, action items, and basic follow up items. Simultaneously supports the entire project management cycle of multiple projects. Carries out ad hoc project support functions as needed by the Director, EDO or Vice President. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business management or related field preferred 2-5 years related work experience preferred Proven successful Retail Management experience required Experience in multi-unit management required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Visio, and Project preferred Fueled by Growth, Driven by You At RaceTrac, our people make the difference.
