About The Position

The Facilities Management Coordinator at WellSpan Health is responsible for coordinating various activities within the Facilities Management department, ensuring effective management of inspections, preventive maintenance, and building projects. This role involves clerical support, documentation management, and financial tracking to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of financial and facility maintenance terminology.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Webview 2000 is helpful.
  • Knowledge of CMMS programs is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of inspections and preventive maintenance of hospital equipment.
  • Coordinate and oversee designated building projects.
  • Support Facilities Management Supervisory Staff in research and report preparation.
  • Maintain facility safety and regulatory inspection documentation.
  • Provide clerical support for inventory control of Housekeeping supplies.
  • Maintain current system drawings and O&M Manuals.
  • Manage the issuance and tracking of facility work permits.
  • Contact and schedule contracted service providers as needed.
  • Process Engineering and Housekeeping work requests and manage maintenance inventory.
  • Maintain department training and certification records.
  • Assist Facility Manager with employee PTO scheduling and coverage.
  • Coordinate courier services and compute costs for Job Orders and Work Projects.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet of quarterly financial figures for reporting.
  • Establish and maintain an inventory of parts/supplies used by Plant Operations.
