About The Position

Job Purpose Performs preventative maintenance and repairs in/ around facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to identify building maintenance needs and immediate corrective actions needed. Replace/ repair building finish with tasks to include but not limited to painting, concrete work, door hardware, and piping. Support/ direct onsite service contractors and vendors. Knowledge of preventative maintenance measures to maintain the facility a safe and functioning environment. Perform routine/ non-routine preventative maintenance in and around all company facilities/ equipment. Knowledge of safe work practices and must adhere to all safety standards/ guidelines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be available on weekends. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Proficient with tools/ equipment used in building/ custodial maintenance, reconstruction, and repair work.
Previous experience as a facilities maintenance technician in a manufacturing or construction setting
