The Maintenance Staff is responsible for supporting the upkeep, cleanliness, and general maintenance of all Yacht Club facilities, including the clubhouse, docks, marina, and grounds. This role focuses on hands-on work such as repairs, cleaning, groundskeeping, and assisting with daily facility operations. Maintenance Staff are an essential part of ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for members and guests.

  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, docks, marina structures, and equipment.
  • Assist with painting, carpentry, and light structural repairs as needed.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, weeding, leaf removal, and general landscaping tasks.
  • Keep club facilities clean and orderly through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
  • Maintain pool areas and equipment, including basic upkeep and cleaning.
  • Help set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or seasonal use.
  • Support other departments with physical tasks such as moving supplies or light transport of materials.
  • Respond to maintenance-related issues or requests as directed by the club management.
  • Perform other general duties as assigned.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prior experience in building or grounds maintenance preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
  • Experience with marina or waterfront maintenance is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, climb, and perform physical tasks (up to 50 lbs).
  • Must be able to work a 40-hour week and occasionally adjust hours for special events or seasonal needs.
