About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for fulfilling all maintenance needs assigned, ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently. This role involves a variety of tasks including carpentry, electrical repairs, appliance diagnostics, and landscaping, aimed at improving the appearance and functionality of residential properties.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2 years of experience in residential and light commercial applications.
• Experience in maintenance mechanics including physical structure repair, machinery repair, electrical, and plumbing.
• Valid NY State Driver License with at least 12 months of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on facilities, grounds, machinery, and equipment according to blueprints, manuals, and codes.
• Conduct established preventative maintenance monthly, including quarterly fire system inspections and tests.
• Follow the assigned work schedule and work order system to maximize efficiency, prioritizing emergency requests and oldest work orders.
