About The Position

The position involves monitoring and performing non-technical maintenance of plumbing systems, which includes standard repairs of leaking fixtures, cleaning obstructed waste lines, and installing water coolers. Additionally, the role encompasses performing non-technical modifications to plumbing and water supply systems. The candidate will also be responsible for carpentry maintenance tasks such as routine sheetrock/drywall installation and repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation. The position may also require general maintenance, custodial duties, and trash removal tasks. The individual must ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies while promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Documentation of facilities maintenance requirements and maintaining appropriate records of work performed is also a key responsibility. The role may include performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Ability to learn to skillfully operate and maintain assigned equipment.
• Experience in maintenance and repair, including high-speed doors and HVAC is preferred.
• Ability to operate personnel lifts and use a multimeter.
• General hand tool knowledge and safety consciousness.
• General plumbing knowledge and a basic understanding of fluid dynamics.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to satisfactorily follow rules and procedures.
• Ability to maintain equipment and tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high-speed doors and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
