Maintenance Mechanic has expertise and hand-on experiences in conveyer systems as well as facility systems servicing our Charlotte office and warehouse complex. The most ideal candidate will have knowledge and practical experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, building automation systems, security safety systems and HVAC. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday: 4:00pm start working until complete

Requirements

  • 5-7 years hands on Mechanical experience
  • Electrical aptitude is required.
  • Experience and knowledge with systems to include: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Automation Systems, and Security and Safety.
  • Must be a self-directed and independent worker
  • Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to professionally converse with all company personnel, vendors and guests
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as determined along with occasional on call availability.

Nice To Haves

  • A two year technical associates degree in Mechanical Systems Operation (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure MEPFS (mechanical, electric, plumbing, fire, security) systems function and apply with standards and are repaired as needed.
  • Responsible for maintenance, repair and monitoring of building heating and cooling system.
  • Maintain and repair pumps and water circulation systems.
  • Provide facility and company-wide technical, engineering and project management leadership and support.
  • Develop, implement and manage preventive, corrective and operational maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure all required MEPFS inspections, testing and certification compliance.
  • Oversee care and maintenance of grounds and structural components of buildings.
  • Respond to emergency situations, inclement weather, after hours services
  • Ordering of equipment and materials as needed.
  • Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, and maintain required maintenance logs.
  • Keep the upper management aware of any issues or concerns regarding the facility systems.
