About The Position

Position Summary : The Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner. Pay: $28.85 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Schedule : Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm & on call for emergencies. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications : Must be 18 years of age or older Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required Preferred Qualifications : One (1) year of prior HVAC o mechanical technician experience is preferred One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred Responsibilities : Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts Handle heavy workload of calls Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return Manage workload and job scheduling Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs) Keep manager informed of customer feedback Communicate effectively and promptly Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups Report team performance issues to the Supervisor A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license
  • High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of prior HVAC o mechanical technician experience is preferred
  • One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred
